My professional goal is to modernize the teaching of the natural sciences by implementing STEM/STEAM standards. I replace the traditional lecture-based model with a process of active discovery, in which physics and astronomy—as well as other natural and exact sciences—cease to be mere theory and instead become tools for the empirical exploration of the world.
I work at the intersection of the academic environment and primary and secondary education. As the academic coordinator of the Science LAB project on behalf of the Janusz Gil Institute of Astronomy, I am involved in a pioneering collaboration between the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Zielona Góra and the 4th General Secondary School in Zielona Góra. Through this initiative, I create a space for the authentic development of scientific competencies. I engage students in the analysis of real research data and in solving concrete engineering problems.
In my teaching practice, I apply well-established international active-learning standards:
My mission is to foster in my students an explorer’s mindset—combining scientific rigor with creativity—which forms the foundation for success in today’s world of science and modern technologies.
